Consumer utilityReceipt-to-warranty MVPDemo

Receipt Warranty Vault

Uploaded receipts become confirmed purchase records with return and warranty deadlines attached.

A scoped MVP: upload a receipt image or PDF, a multimodal model extracts the fields, you confirm or correct them, and the item lands in a searchable vault with estimated return and warranty dates.

Demo.

The MVP flow: upload a receipt, review the extracted store, date, price, and line items, confirm, and open the vault dashboard with the tracked purchase value and expiring returns.

The flow.

01Upload a receipt — JPEG, PNG, or PDF — to private storage.
02A multimodal model extracts store, date, totals, and line items. With no model key configured it returns an honest manual-fallback payload rather than guessing.
03A confirmation screen shows every extracted field for review and correction before anything is saved.
04The confirmed purchase enters the vault; an accuracy-review record is created from the diff between extracted and confirmed values.
05Return and warranty deadlines are estimated from the purchase date and shown on the dashboard — estimates unless you confirm or override them.

Build.

  • App

Next.js 15 App Router and TypeScript; dashboard, upload, confirmation, vault list, vault detail, and an admin accuracy screen.

  • Data

Supabase Postgres and a private storage bucket; a local JSON store and filesystem fallback for development.

  • Extraction

An OpenAI-compatible multimodal boundary in one module, with a manual-fallback payload when no key is present.

  • Proof

Every confirmation writes an extraction-accuracy record, so the dashboard can report how close the model got.

Scoped as an MVP: no user accounts, and no reminder delivery — the deadlines are computed and displayed, not notified.
